IMPORTANT MEMBER UPDATE – RACING POSTPONED UNTIL JULY 7th October 2020 As you are all aware due to the on-going and complex restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic the board of Ski Racing Australia has decided to further delay the upcoming racing season until July 1, 2021. I can assure you that this was an extremely tough decision to make . Thursday August 20, 2020 Change to racing season Due to the on-going and complex restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic, including the hard border closures, the board of Ski Racing Australia have decided it is necessary to postpone the commencement of 2020/2021 season. The season is now proposed to run the full calendar year from January to December 2021. SRV 2020-21 Point Score Format

Thank you to members who sent in feedback regarding the revised point score format for 2020/21 season that was discussed at the recent board meeting, the board appreciate you taking the time to send your feedback in. There has been overwhelming positive feedback for the revised format and the board will proceed with the format as is for the 2020/21 season, the only change being at the Victorian Titles race 15 will be run on Saturday at Race 6 and Race 6 will be run on Sunday at Race 15. Draft 2020-21 Point Score Race Format

Following feedback from members who attended the Special General Meeting in March, the SRV board have drafted a point score format for the 2020-21 Season (link below). The board welcome any feedback regarding the format so please email your feedback to admin@waterskiracing.com or contact a board member. Start of the season will be advised when available pending lifting of restrictions. The SRA board are currently working on the 2020-21 calendar and this will be posted as soon as available, 2020-21 Major Events Calendar is available on the SRA website.
