Presentation Night

All perpetual trophies must be returned at Point Score 5
Usually held in late June, a venue and time will be advised on the website and facebook.

Any member failing a breath test or being disqualified 2 or more times during the Point Score Series will be ineligible for awards. (Not applicable to time penalty disqualifications)

Each Class will be awarded based on points tallied from the SRV Point Score Series

Special Awards for the Point Score Series
Boat of the year
Race number 1 will be awarded to the boat of the year. Score will be based on all Point Scores completed, same driver not required. Highest point scorer will be the winner. No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.
Driver of the year
Score will be based on all Point Scores completed, same boat not required. Highest point scorer will be the winner. No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.
Observer of the year
Score will be based on all Point Scores completed, same boat not required. Highest point scorer will be the winner. No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.
Male Highest point scorer of the year
Score will be based on all Point Scores completed. Points will be totalled from the following 6 events only – Open, Social, Marathon, Own Age Division, one Engine Class & Two up. Same boat not required. Highest point scorer will be the winner. No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.
Female Highest point scorer of the year
Score will be based on all Point Scores completed. Points will be totalled from the following 6 events only – Open, Social, Marathon, Own Age Division, one Engine Class & one Two up. Same boat not required. Highest point scorer will be the winner. No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.
Rookie Driver of the year
Score will be based on Rookie Drivers who display an understanding of SRA rules, have competed in a fair manner and assisted in the running of events, as well as points from  all Point Scores completed.  No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.
Returning drivers and drivers put back on rookie status are not eligible for this award
Chairman’s Award for best team
Score will be based on all Point Scores completed. Highest point scoring boat and team with the same members competing in a class or classes will be the winner. No races are dropped. Count back if tied result.

Season awards
Scott Dominguez Male Skier of the year
Nominations for Male Skier of the year are to be sent to the Secretary of SRV in the month of May giving details including results of all events competed in across all SRA sanctioned ski- racing events. The board of SRV will consider all nominations and select who, in their belief, to be the best male skier for the season.
Female Skier of the year
Nominations for Female Skier of the year are to be sent to the Secretary of SRV in the month of May giving details including results of all events competed in across all SRA sanctioned ski-racing events. The board of SRV will consider all nominations and select who, in their belief, to be the best female skier for the season.
Ashley French – Most improved junior skier male or female U19 years of age
Nominations for Most improved junior skier are to be sent to the Secretary of SRV in the month of May giving details including results of all events competed in across all SRA sanctioned ski-racing events. Details of the type of improvement for the season must also be included. The board of SRV will consider all nominations and select who, in their belief, to be the most improved U19 skier for the season.
Club Person of the Year
Nominations for Club Person of the year are to be sent to the Secretary of SRV in the month of May, giving details why this person/s should receive the award.  The board of SRV will consider all members and nominations and select who, in their belief, to be Club Person for the season.
The Croc Memorial Trophy
Nominations for the Croc Memorial Trophy are to be sent to the Secretary of SRV in the month of May giving details of a 60 mph expert skier’s consistency, enthusiasm and improvement during the season. The board of SRV will consider all nominations and select the 60mph expert skier who, in their belief, will be awarded the Croc Memorial Trophy.
