Below is an update on the program of events for the Mulwala Water Ski Club Ski Racing Victoria Grand Prix. At Breath Testing on Saturday and Sunday morning there will be a Helpers Roster which will require each boat to supply a Helper for 2 races. It would be fantastic if we could have people volunteering their services for each day of racing so that we can make it a successful weekend. On Wednesday the 6th of August the Board of Ski Racing Victoria held an information evening at Skyways Hotel, Airport West. The board of Ski Racing Victoria presented their current financial position to its members and outlined its plans for the upcoming season 2014/15. The question was put to the Board “what had been put in place to make sure that this is not able to happen again”. With the Information Evening coming up this Wednesday August 6th the Ski Racing Victoria Board discussed the request to broadcast this night out over the internet, at its meeting held on Wednesday night. It was decided after much discussion that the night would not be broadcast and that if you would like to participate in the meeting you will need to be at Skyways Hotel at 7pm next Wednesday night. There will be an update on the events of the night placed on the website in the days following.
HE IS BACK IN MELBOURNE!!! Ken has now been moved from Royal Adelaide Hospital to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He is happy to be back and enjoying being able to have family visit him. He has begun the long hard road to recovery which means working with the Physio’s and is back eating in small amounts. He asks that you respect his wishes to not have any visitors before Thursday 24th July as there are a few close people he would like to see first but is thankful for all the well wishes that he has received.
