IMPORTANT MEMBER UPDATE – RACING POSTPONED UNTIL JULY 7th October 2020 As you are all aware due to the on-going and complex restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic the board of Ski Racing Australia has decided to further delay the upcoming racing season until July 1, 2021. I can assure you that this was an extremely tough decision to make . Thursday August 20, 2020 Change to racing season Due to the on-going and complex restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic, including the hard border closures, the board of Ski Racing Australia have decided it is necessary to postpone the commencement of 2020/2021 season. The season is now proposed to run the full calendar year from January to December 2021. This is a decision that has not been taken lightly but the on-going uncertainties in Victoria and the border closures between Vic, NSW and QLD have made it extremely difficult for our event organisers to plan their races with any certainty at … Continue reading →

CEO Update and 2019/20 SRA Calendar

CEO UPDATE It has been some time since my last CEO update – August 2019 to be exact and whilst I vacated the CEO chair I have continued to work with the previous and now newly elected board behind the scenes on a part-time basis. As our new Chair, Rowena McNally wrote a week or so ago I have resumed the CEO role at SRA effective July 1, but still on a part-time basis. Message from the SRA Chair

It has been a few weeks now since my last communication but there has been plenty going on behind the scenes at Ski Racing Australia. The Board has met (via Zoom of course) to get the season up and running as quickly as possible.
