2017 Asian and Oceania IWWF World Waterski Championship

The AO Championships ski racing event will be conducted under IWWF Racing Rules. The following classes will be contested Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Open Women, F2 Women, Open Men, F2 Men and a trial class of Veterans. It would be great if some boats committed to go but given the number of events on the SRA calendar and the world Team selection races it may not be possible for people to send their boats. Any SRA member may nominate to be part of the Australian team to compete at these championships and a few boats are available in NZ to tow them. This is an excellent opportunity for SRA members to represent their country. Unfortunately, there is no funding for this team so anyone who commits to compete at the championships will do so at their own cost but that will be recognised as Australian Team Members and will be able to purchase team merchandise to reflect this. NZ has extended the closing date for nominations to 25th October 2016. All nominations must be submitted to Jan Thurgar who will forward them through to NZ.
